While standing outside the pub last night, waiting for it to burn down, we had a fantastic conversation about spontaneous human combustion. And specifically about an experiment involving pigs that was shown on TV a few years ago. Nobody could remember the actual details, but we built up a lovely mental image of pigs sat by electric heaters, dressed in comfortable clothes, their legs swaddled in blankets, waiting to combust.
